As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.Job OverviewLead our Purchasing & Supplier Management team, supporting our Danbury and Winsted plants, with clear strategies and strong decisions to drive operational excellence and supplier partnerships.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the assigned organizational unitMonitor and establish performance metrics to ensure effective purchasing activities across all levelsGuide and expand the supplier base focusing on quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targetsCollaborate in make-or-buy decisions for sourcing optimizationManage planning, prioritization, and allocation of resources and budgets within the departmentInitiate and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes Your QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field7+ years of experience in purchasing and supplier development in a manufacturing or production environment5+ years of leadership experience in a group leader or manager roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to establish and monitor performance metrics Excellent decision-making and resource management capabilitiesProficient communication skills and a leadership mindset suitable for managing teams and cross-functional collaboration External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorshipThis position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleeOur OfferingComprehensive healthcare coverage: Employees receive access to a range of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, ensuring their well-being and peace of mind.
