Paid Family Caregiver

Job Overview Are you already caring for a loved one at home? Through Michigan’s Medicaid-funded Home Care Program, you may qualify to get paid for the care you provide — at no cost to your family member. This program allows family members and friends to receive compensation for supporting loved ones who need help with daily activities due to long-term health conditions or disabilities. The best part is that this program is already a pre-existing benefit of your loved one's Medicaid coverage! Responsibilities Provide compassionate care for your own loved one (not a client we assign). Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility support. Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Monitor your loved one’s well-being and follow care plans as needed. Qualifications Must have a Client you are care for. Client must have Medicaid. Caregiver cannot be a felon. Previous caregiving experience (personal or professional) is helpful but not required. Ability to assist with daily tasks and provide a safe, clean environment. Basic cooking skills for meal preparation. Patience, compassion, and reliability. The Best Part No license, HHA certification, or prior professional training required. You get paid to care for someone you already love and know best. Ongoing support and guidance provided.
