Cashier
CashierA Cashier is responsible for providing excellent, efficient customer service to our guests. This service is provided at the point of sale terminal, in the dining room, and at Expo. Cashiers will take orders, run food, maintain a clean and organized dining room, bag and deliver to go orders, and complete prep for service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service during guests dining experience, from entry to exit and everything in between.
Memorize the menu at your location.
Maintain guest facing areas by organizing and cleaning, including but not limited to bathrooms, dining room, tables, windows, etc.
Complete opening, closing, and midshift procedures as directed by your supervisor.
Complete preparation as needed, as directed by your supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum:
Able to speak English
Comfortable working with a team
Basic math (addition and subtraction)
Able to take constructive criticism
Able to handle conflict with potential guest issues
Able to read and follow instructions
Good verbal communication skills
Comfortable with technology
Able to multitask and prioritize on the fly
Preferred:
Prior experience in a retail or restaurant job
Able to speak Spanish
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25+ pounds
Able to stand on their feet for 8 hours uninterrupted
Able to be stationary for multiple hours at a time completing repetitive tasks
Able to move quickly throughout the restaurant
Able to access and navigate all areas of the restaurant
Able to work in excessive heat and cold associated with the kitchen environment
