Java Lead/Architect-GraphQLLocation: Boston, MA-Hybrid Duration: 6+ MonthsJob Description: Experience & SkillMinimum 8 years of experience in software engineering and design/architectureExperience in providing technology advisory service to clients across multiple sectorsConfident, assertive, self-driven and effective communicator with strong influencing skillsExperience working on EComm/supply chain and retail-based enterprise solutions is added advantageExpertise with green field, legacy modernization, technology refactor Product/Platform implementationsWell versed with design principles and design patternsTechnology & ArchitectureStrong hands-on experience in developing and design microservice based applications using Java technologies.Strong experience with architecting migration of Monolith to Micro services architectureStrong application design and implementation skills, solid understanding of entire development cycle and production support.Strong background in Java, Java EE, Microservices, REST based application, Spring/Spring-boot/ORMStrong experience of GraphQL and implementation libraries e.g. Netflix DGSBroad cloud knowledge – good understanding of major cloud providers (AWS and GCP) and their servicesUnderstanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Containerization, Orchestration Agile SDLC approaches (Agile, SaFE)Understanding of legacy transformation targeting cloud architecture
