Service TechnicianLocation: Glenwood Springs, ColoradoPay Range: $30–$40 per hour (depending on experience)Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Position OverviewPella Western Slope located in Glenwood Springs is hiring a Service Technician to diagnose and repair Pella windows and doors in the field. This role works directly with homeowners, builders, and internal teams to resolve product performance and warranty issues. The ideal candidate has experience installing or servicing windows and doors, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesService and RepairsDiagnose and repair Pella windows and doors in residential homes and new construction sitesAddress product performance and warranty issuesPerform adjustments, repairs, and replacements as neededPreparation and OrganizationMaintain service vehicle inventory of parts and materialsPrepare for scheduled service calls to ensure efficient work in the fieldCustomer CommunicationProvide updates to homeowners, sales teams, and management regarding service statusAnswer customer questions and address concerns professionallyQuality and WorkmanshipEnsure all repairs meet Pella quality standardsMaintain a clean and professional work environment at job sitesQualificationsExperienceRequired: Minimum 1 year of experience installing or servicing windows and doorsExperience in residential construction, remodeling, or home repair is preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tools and terminologySkillsAbility to read and interpret technical instructionsBasic math skills including measurements and calculationsStrong problem-solving ability in the fieldTechnologyBasic computer skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to use an iPad or tablet to complete service reports and job documentation.Ability to learn company systems used for service documentationImportantApplicants should have direct experience working with windows and doors.
