Here's what you'll be doing:ResponsibilitiesPerform sample collection, preparation, and analytical laboratory testing Adjust the system processes and equipment based upon system analysis and trends Maintain records, perform data entry, and provide detailed standardized reporting Monitor and manage system performance to assure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency Follow technical operating procedures and develop operational improvements Manage time effectively in order to multitask and make calculated decisions across multiple processes Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work; troubleshoot equipment and diagnose problems Maintain high degree of cleanliness for all treatment facilities and equipmentQualificationsWe want someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and possesses the following skills and qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills: You'll be a team player who collaborates effectively with others.Excellent decision-making, time management, and organizational skills: You'll handle multiple priorities like a pro.Mechanical aptitude: You'll have a knack for understanding and working with equipmentLaboratory analysis skills: You're eager to learn and perform critical lab procedures.Flexibility: You're ready to adjust to variable schedules when needed.Ohio EPA Class 1 wastewater operator license is preferred upon hire; must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe set by Shearers.
