Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food presentation to ensure quality and consistency Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast OS or Micros POS Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food safety compliance Hire and train new team members and provide ongoing staff development to enhance skills and performance Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a hospitality setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes effectively Experience with staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and team management Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality regulations Kitchen management experience including food industry best practices and culinary skills is highly desirable Join us as an Assistant Manager to lead our vibrant team toward excellence!
