We are currently seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our nursing team on a full-time basis, with opportunities available on all shifts.General PurposeThe primary responsibility of the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is to provide direct nursing care to residents and to support the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders* Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely* Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the Charge Nurse or RN* Accurately document care provided, observations, and resident responses in the medical record* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed* Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver resident-centered care* Ensure infection control, safety, and privacy standards are followed at all times* Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergency situations* Maintain a professional, compassionate, and respectful approach toward residents and familiesQualificationsEducation and/or Experience* Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program* Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care experience preferredLicensure & Certifications* Current, active California LVN license in good standing* Current BLS/CPR certificationSkills* Strong clinical and assessment skills* Excellent communication and documentation abilities* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWhat We Offer* Competitive hourly rate ($28-$30/hr BOE)* Full-time benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)* Supportive leadership and collaborative work culture* Career growth and advancement opportunities* Ongoing training and professional developmentWork Environment* Skilled Nursing Facility setting* Long-term care and short-term rehabilitation residents* Exposure to clinical environments and healthcare equipmentEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementGateway Post Acute is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
