CIVIL SUPERINTENDENTPrecision Industrial Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Civil Superintendent for immediate hireThis is a traveling position, PIC works coast to coast across the United States and CanadaMUST HAVE HEAVY INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE AND BE A LEGAL US RESIDENT TO BE CONSIDEREDYou are a fit if you:Have excellent leadership skillsPossess a good attitudeAbility to create a daily schedule and follow a planPossess excellent communication skillsAdvanced problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively manage and lead a crew safelyRequirements and Responsibilities:Oversees, supervises, and performs the daily construction activities at a work siteSetting forms that hold the concrete in placeCleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issuesDirecting the casting of the concrete with the truck driverPouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed. This includes handheld tools and power tool versionsMonitoring the effects of the weather on the curing processApplying sealing and hardening componentsSafely operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compactedMolding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging toolsPolishing surface using a power surfacing machineConcrete Finisher RequirementsHigh school diplomaMinimum 2 years work experience as a concrete laborer or masonAbility to stand for long periodsAbility to lift heavy materials and work long hoursAbility to kneel for long periodsKnowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging toolsAble to work shifts, at night and on public holidays as requiredAdditional Qualifications, Education, & Experience:High School diploma or equivalentMust pass a pre-employment drug screenOSHA30 certificationProcore experience preferredValid Drivers LicenseAbility to acquire a DOT certificate
