Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and clinically sound environment for every client we serve.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. The BHT plays a critical role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey by maintaining a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment. This position involves direct client interaction, behavioral support, and collaboration with clinical staff. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision and support to clients in both clinical and housing settingsAssist with daily routines, including transportation, drug screens, and scheduled activitiesMonitor client behavior and ensure adherence to program rules and expectationsDocument observations, incidents, and client progress accurately and in a timely mannerSupport clinical staff in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventionsConduct room checks, safety checks, and maintain a secure environmentBuild rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundariesRespond appropriately to crisis situations and follow established protocols Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum of 1+ year of experience in the behavioral health or treatment industryHigh school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-stress situationsExperience working in PHP, IOP, or residential settings is a plusCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screening Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wageOpportunities for growth and advancementSupportive team environmentOngoing training and professional developmentHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume to shawn@perimetertx.com and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the position.
