AWS Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer VI – Data Services to join the Infrastructure Intelligence & Analytics (IIA) team. This role will design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure supporting data lakes, AI/agent platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and graph database environments.Job Location: Saint Louis, MO or Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage AWS infrastructure using S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.Build and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation infrastructure and secure cross-account AWS connectivity.Support AI agent runtime environments, Docker containers, LangSmith Deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.Develop Python-based automation, CLIs, integration services, and operational tooling.Support AWS Neptune/graph database infrastructure, monitoring, scaling, and performance.Implement production monitoring, alerting, security, incident response, and reliability practices.Required Skills5+ years of platform/infrastructure engineering experience.Strong AWS expertise and hands-on Terraform experience.Experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, Python, IAM, networking, and REST APIs/AWS SDK (boto3).Strong understanding of DNS, CIDR, NAT, firewalls, security groups, VPC, PrivateLink, and Transit Gateway.Experience building automated tests and maintaining production-grade software and infrastructure.Preferred: AWS Neptune/Neo4j, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Splunk, telecommunications/network operations, AI/ML infrastructure, and FastAPI/Flask experience.
