The duties of a dental assistant are among the most comprehensive and varied in the dental office. The dental assistant performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.Pay: $19-$20.00/hr Depending on Experience Shift: Monday: 8am-4:30pm (lunch break 12-12:30pm)Tuesday: 10:30am-7pm (lunch break 2-2:30pm)Wed, Thu, Fri: 8:45am-5:30pm (lunch break 12-12:45pm) Volume: The dental clinic currently has three chairs. 5-6 patients a day! 2-5 Must Have Skills/QualificationsCertified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificationMinimum of 12 months of Dental Assistant experience (May consider really green candidates that have 6+ months if they are stellar)
