Driver mover

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Driver Mover to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and equipment to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine driving expertise with manual handling skills, making every day engaging and rewarding. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles for delivery and moving assignments * Load, unload, and secure items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks * Follow established routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards * Assist customers with the loading and unloading process, ensuring proper manual lifting practices to prevent injury * Maintain accurate delivery documentation using mobile devices and digital logs * Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes or delivery updates * Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations *Experience* * Previous warehouse experience or experience in moving or delivery driving preferred * Proven track record in commercial driving, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles * Familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks * Experience in manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and safety standards * Customer service skills that foster positive interactions during deliveries or moves * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or courier roles is a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your driving skills and manual handling expertise make a real impact!
