We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Operations - Analyst, Software QA/Test LdJob Location: Baltimore, MDJob Description:Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing software test plans, test scenarios, Defines and solves for test data needs, develops automated scripts and programs for testing in order to ensure the outgoing software and technical products meet and exceed quality standards. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their root causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software engineers and product owners. Participates in the review of software design. Understands software architecture and quality risks and leads test strategy development.Essential functions:40% Lead team of testers in support of multiple projects/corporate initiatives to provide test planning and test execution activities. Directly responsible for analyzing the complex requirements, operational problems, specifications and change requests. Produce test plans and test cases to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Monitor accurate and thorough test cases, scripts and data with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates. Perform test execution of all assigned test cases. Research and provide technical support on operational/test system defects and propose solutions. 20% Lead and manage project defect management meetings and triage the issues/defects found during the test execution. Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to research, analyze and propose solutions to the most complex technical, operational and test scenarios. Communicate the project and testing status to management. Provide and document issues and risks associated with the testing effort to the project stakeholders and leadership. 20% Guide and mentor team of testers in support of the projects and day-to-day to testing effort. This is also includes supporting and working with associates, contractors and other third-party resources. 20% Champion and assist in the mission and objectives to follow the best practices and processes set forth by leadership.
