Site Administrative Support (Job #5069)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
A Multipurpose Foreman at SET Environmental is required to:
Lead and participate with a crew on both scheduled work onsite, and emergency response-based projects, and follow up on job status to the SET Site Manager and the customer
Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET and site-specific safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards
Complete site Inspections (ground, storage area, trench, impoundment, spill kit, waste area, satellite accumulation area and tank)
Lead and participate in on call events during and after hours and support of outside/non- nested SET crews that may be performing work on site
Lead and support spill response efforts for the site
Operate and escort vacuum trucks throughout the site and oversee work being performed
Prepare shipping documents to SET and other established waste vendors based on established profiles in conjunction with the site Waste Coordinator
Complete inspections of 90 day waste area, tanks, ditches and other site specific areas.
Manage Spill Kits (Building, Monthly Inspections, Distributing)
Help establish and manage waste planning and pick-ups for the site
Help manage and conduct field audits for SET and the Customer
Provide forklift assistance for waste handling and recycling services for the plant as needed
Lead and participate in various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
Confined Space Entry - CSE
Pressure washing / Industrial Cleaning
Environmental Remediation and Emergency Response for Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials
Miscellaneous tasks on demand
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years verifiable industry experience
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER, OSHA 10, TWIC card or ability to obtain
Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently.
Basic chemical knowledge
Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening.
Hold a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record (Class B CDL preferred, but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong communication skills and high focus on safety
Ability to work safely and follow direction and procedures
Willingness to take on additional tasks on demand
