Construction Laborer

Title: Laborer Location: Columbus OH Duration: Contract to Hire Our client specializes in the cleaning, restoration, and reconstruction of properties damaged by water, fire, storms, or mold. Our client has been family owned for over 50 years. They are currently seeking a highly motivated fire/water restoration technician for their fast growing business. We're seeking individuals who are hard working, self motivated, and energetic. Applicants who enjoy helping others, take pride in their work, and take ownership of their career will thrive in our growing company Job Summary: Water and Smoke Damage Clean up Demolition Proper setup and take down of drying equipment Monitor drying conditions in atmosphere and building materials Daily communications with homeowners, office staff, managers, etc. Handling and cleaning of homeowners contents after a fire or smoke damage. Cleaning of homes after damaged by smoke or fire. Construction Qualifications: Experience is not required Have excellent customer service skills Be ready, willing and able to work and be available for overtime when needed. Be able to work unsupervised. Have a great attitude, be trust worthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality. Willingness to undergo a background check, driving record check, and regular employee drug screenings. Have a valid drivers license. Previous experience in professional cleaning, restoration or construction is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
