Quality Control Inspector

This position is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials along with required production procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control, the ideal individual should be quality and detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty according to quality standards and expectations. This role is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.Responsibilities:Conduct a complete visual inspection of all incoming parts and materials.Handle material with necessary precautions and in accordance with requirements for safe handlingConduct a complete vision inspection of all items being shippedControl of non-conforming materialsCertification and release of materialsRead and understand traceability documentsQuality oriented, attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable and able to multi-task when necessary.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills 1-2 yrs. of experience in Quality Control processesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skillsFamiliarity with ERP systems, a plusRequirements:Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills Demonstrate ability to perform job functions with minimal supervisionFamiliar with ATA106 and ATA300 SpecificationsFamiliar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standardsFamiliar with procedures for completion of ATA106 certificate Familiar with procedures for Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etc.Come check out how hashtag#gatelesis is "Intelligently Defining the FUTURE of Aviation and Aerospace"To see what #GATelesis life is like, visit LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
