Technical Assembler – Low Voltage / Security Systems

Rolland Solutions is seeking a dependable, hands-on Technical Assembler to join our growing team. This is a warehouse-based, hands-on position responsible for assembling, wiring, programming, testing, and refurbishing safes and security products.
The ideal candidate has hands-on low-voltage experience and is comfortable working with electronic locks, access control components, alarm systems, wiring, and mechanical locking systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in low voltage, security systems, access control, electronic locks, locksmithing, or technical assembly who enjoys working with tools and troubleshooting equipment.
What You'll Do
* Assemble, refurbish, wire, program, and test safes and security products.
* Install electronic keypads, electronic locks, locking systems, and related security components.
* Perform low-voltage wiring, connections, and basic troubleshooting of electronic lock and security systems.
* Read and follow prep sheets, work orders, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
* Identify products by model number and manufacturer to ensure proper staging and assembly.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
* Duplicate keys, pin cylinders, and install mechanical lock components.
* Test completed products to verify proper operation and ensure quality standards are met.
* Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
* Accurately enter production and workflow information into the company ERP system.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Assist with process improvements and initiatives designed to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 1 year of hands-on low-voltage, security systems, electronic, technical assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
* Experience with low-voltage wiring and electronic components strongly preferred.
* Experience with electronic locks, access control, alarm systems, security products, locksmithing, or related technologies is a strong plus.
* Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
* Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electronic issues.
* Ability to read and follow technical instructions, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
* Forklift experience preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
* Dependable, reliable, and safety-conscious.
* Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Environment
* Hands-on work in a warehouse and production environment.
* Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working with tools throughout the workday.
* Comfortable working around typical warehouse noise, equipment, and varying temperatures.
* Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Must be comfortable working safely around tools, equipment, safes, and security products.
