Claims Supervisor

JSR Services is looking for a Claims Supervisor to oversee the claims department, ensuring all medical claims are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves leading a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance and support, and implementing best practices to improve department performance, with a specific focus on medical coding for diagnostic and procedural claims. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the claims department. Oversee the processing of medical claims to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of claims adjusters, with an emphasis on medical coding. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Handle complex or escalated medical claims and provide solutions. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Analyze claims data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical coding and claims processing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of [3] years of experience in a lead claims management or a related role, specifically within the medical insurance industry. Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of medical claims processing and industry regulations. Proficiency in claims management software, medical coding software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
