OverviewBGM Supply is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Administrative Clerk to support daily accounting, administrative, and office operations. This is a key role within our small team and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to efficient office systems.In addition to handling day-to-day financial and administrative tasks, this position supports maintaining organized, consistent office processes within a small, family-owned business environment.Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Administration Process and post daily vendor invoicesAudit vendor statements for accuracy and completenessPrepare and send customer invoicesPost customer payments and assist with collectionsPerform daily point-of-sale batch closingsPrepare and process daily bank depositsManage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking accurate messagesOffice & Administrative SupportHandle daily mail, filing, scanning, and documentation organizationMaintain accurate digital and paper recordsAssist with administrative processing of customer credit applicationsAssist with administrative setup for vendor accountsProvide administrative support to team members as a personal assistant when needed, ensuring smooth daily operationsSystems & Process SupportFollow established administrative and accounting proceduresHelp maintain clear documentation for recurring tasksIdentify inconsistencies and bring to management's attentionSupport consistency and thoroughness in daily workflowsQualifications & SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong computer literacy with excellent data entry accuracyComfortable working with numbers and routine financial tasksExceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyexpertiseExperience with DDI software is helpful but not requiredAttention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining precise recordsProven time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficientlyCustomer service experience with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive interactionsPrior administrative or accounting experience preferredWhy work at BGM Supply?
