Construction Manager/Superintendent
Job Overview
As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality control standards are met
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including OSHA standards
- Responsible for the coordination of subcontractors, material suppliers, inspectors
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being done correctly
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Manage a small in-house crew for smaller jobs
- Excellent supervisory skills to effectively manage on-site personnel
- Experience in budgeting and cost control for construction projects
- Ability to oversee multiple projects, anticipate issues and plan ahead
-Performing some of the actual construction work or trade craft as needed or required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $94,710.00 - $102,152.00 per year
