Membership Sales Director
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving membership growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for business development, while also being adept at analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence and expanding our member base.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Generate leads and cultivate qualified prospects on a daily basis
· Assists in developing and maintaining the atmosphere of a private club that will distinguish the Club in a positive manner from all similar competition.
· Responsible for achieving the Club’s Membership sales plan, goals, and objectives.
· Create and execute quarterly game plans with analysis on sales forecasting, activity and trend reports.
· Develop membership marketing plans, public relations programs, and strategies.
Oversee Pipeline CRM: Maintain prospect database to track prospecting efforts, manage campaigns and leads, calendar sales, track activities, forecast qualified opportunities and report results
· Prepare and utilize professional sales presentations including all collateral, digital and printed, to showcase a complete overview of the Club based on relevance to buyer needs and values.
· Ensure all prospect and member inquiries have appropriate follow-up within twenty-four (24) business hours of initial contact.
Attend and represent at high profile city and community functions and other business networking activities to provide awareness of the Club and to develop sources for prospective Club Members.
Conduct, review and maintain competitive market analysis to recommend market positioning strategies, membership programming and options to ensure optimal market share, brand positioning and healthy dues line.
Collaborate with Pipeline Agency to develop programs and social media campaigns to create brand awareness and recognition and generate quality leads through strategy and pricing. Oversee Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn/Google marketing efforts.
Utilize the Jonas Frankie email system and oversee open rates, newsletter designs, overall branding and “Club voice” as well as train and manage employees designated in each department to send email blasts.
Advise on the Clubhouse Online Member Portal as needed
Oversee and manage the Sales and Marketing Department, including supervision and development of direct reports. Advise and provide assistance on club marketing for private events, member events and social functions.
· Ensure all club branding is appropriate in all mediums, including social media, website, marketing materials, new and sponsoring member gifts, etc.
Provide input on the development, scheduling, brand content and brand standards for all prospect and member communications.
Activate brand in the community by cultivating positive relations with key members including area chambers and business networking groups, key business leaders, the community HOA and local media outlets.
Partner with the Private Events Department to promote additional prospective members and private event business opportunities
Preparation of monthly membership report, variance report to budget, annual budget.
Responsible to oversee administrative membership matters to include:
Oversee Jonas membership database including registration of each new family, modifications to member accounts and running reports from the system.
Maintenance of all Membership files including membership payment schedules.
Professional follow up to all inquiries.
Oversee/advise on Membership resignation list
· Plans and oversee events like new member mixers and orientations as needed
· Maintain a positive working rapport with the ownership group, department heads and staff.
· Develop a complete understanding of membership classifications, fee schedules, code of conduct, website, Club Bylaw’s and the club in general.
· Educating and training staff members on how to direct questions regarding all membership inquiries.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Outbound sales experience with a proven track record of sales performance (preferably 5+ years of experience)
· Demonstrated experience in prospecting, pre-qualifying, first meeting impressions, presenting/overcoming objections, influencing and closing sales.
· Thorough knowledge of general business administration with sales practices and procedures.
· High sense of organization, time management and work ethic
· Knowledge of golf, private clubs and hospitality industry preferred
· High-energy and outgoing personality
· Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills required
· Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM experience.
· Ability to foster relationships with Members, Employees, and other community leaders
· Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
· Passion for providing high-quality service and a commitment to exceeding expectations
· Undergraduate degree preferred

The position is Commission and Salary based.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
