Lead Technical Developer – ContractLocation: Denver, CO | Hybrid – atleast 3 days/month onsiteDuration: 9–12 months | Pay: $90–$110/hr | Extension: PossibleRole OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Lead Technical Developer to provide technical leadership across development teams building cloud-based clinical applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong software development, cloud, DevOps, architecture, and team leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical strategy, architecture, design, and development across multiple teams.Remain hands-on with Java/Spring Boot development and code reviews.Design and support GCP cloud-native and microservices applications.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Helm deployments.Work with GCP services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Firestore/Datastore, and Memorystore.Lead complex integrations and troubleshoot application issues.Mentor engineers and technical leads and collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and Project teams.Support Agile/SAFe delivery and continuous improvement.Contribute to AI/automation initiatives using Gemini or Vertex AI.Required Skills10+ years of technical leadership/software engineering experience.Strong Java + Spring Boot development experience.Strong GCP experience.Hands-on Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, and DevOps experience.Microservices and system architecture experience.SQL and NoSQL database experience.Strong Agile/SAFe experience.Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.PreferredGemini/Vertex AI and AI-agent developmentHealthcare/clinical systems experienceOffshore team experienceAngular experienceDenver-area candidates strongly preferred due to the hybrid onsite requirement.
