You will lead and support hydraulic analysis and scour evaluation for bridge and culvert projects. Remnants of the historic charm remain in various locations throughout the mill, while our space has been redesigned with modern lines and architectural accents.Primary Responsibilities:Lead and conduct hydraulic studies for bridge and culvert projects, including river, stream, and floodplain crossingsPerform detailed scour analyses for new and existing bridge structures and recommend appropriate scour protection measuresUtilize hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SRH-2D) and GIS-based project mapping tools for project analysis and designPrepare technical reports, calculations, maps, and documentation for regulatory submittals and project recordsCoordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction staffProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and complianceRequirements: Qualifications:BS or MS degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related fieldPE Licensure10+ years of relevant experienceExceptional oral/ written communication skillsSalary is contingent on experienceHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
