JOB TITLE: Inventory/Warehouse Processor
DEPARTMENT: Service Delivery - Warehouse Operations
JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory/Warehouse Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and issuing of all idle fixed assets as well as minor materials necessary to build, maintain, support, and operate assigned business units. The Inventory/Warehouse Processor is responsible for keeping accurate records of transactions and assist in reporting accurate existing inventory levels. The Inventory/Warehouse Processor is responsible for the organization and housekeeping of the warehouse and ensuring that all idle fixed assets in their charge are secured in locked facilities. The Inventory/Warehouse Processor works closely with internal customers and other departments to identify and provide items specified by the needs of the requesting department.
This position reports to the Supervisor – Warehouse Operations.
The Inventory/Warehouse Processor has no direct reports.
This position regularly supports the following Telesystem business teams:
Commercial Installation, Facilities and Provisioning, Implementation, Voice Operations, Network Operations, Technical Support, Product, Sales, and Sales Engineering
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Inventory/Warehouse Processor is accountable for the following items:
Assist in optimizing and aligning inventory and warehouse processes to reduce time to install and minimize excess inventory.
Monitoring inventory levels utilizing the inventory database and physical counts and report needs to their supervisor.
Maintaining and updating inventory records utilizing the inventory database.
Receive inventory orders via shipping partner and accurately enter required information into the inventory database.
Process internal shipping requests through a shipping partner.
Submit RMA’s following manufacturers requirements to return defective equipment.
Assist in processing HPBX endpoint provisioning as needed.
General organization and housekeeping of the assigned warehouse as defined by the Supervisor – Warehouse Operations.
Safely operating all equipment essential to successfully complete daily work assignments. This could include a company vehicle, pallet jacks; hand carts and other tools and equipment common to warehouse operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED—Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Required
2 years’ experience working in shipping, receiving, general warehouse, data entry or similar role - Highly Preferred
Experience with inventory tracking software and inventory reporting – Highly Preferred
Associate degree – Preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Inventory/Warehouse Processor is a full time, non-exempt position. The regular work hours are 40 hours a week Monday – Friday. These hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the department.
The Inventory/Warehouse Processor works in an automated business office environment with business office equipment including telephones, personal computers, copy machines and FAX equipment.
The Inventory/Warehouse Processor may be required to drive on the job as needed and is subject to regular MVR checks. He/she must maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that always meets Company standards for an insurable driver. Any time these conditions are not met, he/she must not drive on the job and must immediately report it to his/her supervisor.
