Director of PMP - Sales

Purpose:The Director of PMP Sales is responsible for leading the strategic account management and business development efforts for Wirtgen Group products across the dealership territory. This role focuses on cultivating long-term partnerships with high-value clients, driving regional sales growth, and expanding market presence for Wirtgen's portfolio, which includes road construction and material processing equipment. Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic account plans to strengthen relationships with key regional customers, contractors, and dealer networksDrive revenue by identifying new business opportunities, expanding product adoption, and increasing wallet share with existing accountsWork closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure seamless execution of strategies and solutionsProvide leadership and coaching PMP Sales Specialists, promoting best practices and customer-first strategies Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is requiredProven track record in strategic sales or key account management, preferably in construction equipment, roadbuilding, or heavy machinery industriesDeep knowledge of Wirtgen Group products and the competitive landscape in the Eastern U.S. market is highly preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel extensively within the territoryMust have a valid driver's license and be able to meet company driving requirements
