You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated.The Project Manager 2 leads the development and execution planning of customer-driven transmission projects for large industrial and technology clients requiring 20+ megawatts of power capacity. This role is responsible for guiding projects from the Select Gate phase through conceptual engineering, detailed development, cost estimation, and initial scheduling, preparing projects for handoff into implementation at the Initiate Gate.This position plays a critical role in delivering complex, high-capacity transmission solutions and requires strong technical project management expertise, deep understanding of utility transmission systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Role ExpectationsDevelop and manage transmission-fed infrastructure projects for large-scale industrial and commercial customersEnsure complete and accurate project scope, design inputs, and documentation to support project initiationBuild and maintain detailed cost estimates to inform project approvals and business decisionsDevelop and track project schedules to support planning, engineering, and implementation phasesInitiate and manage project schedules using Primavera P6Monitor project performance, budget, and reporting using EcosysConduct site field visits during early project phases (approximately 10% travel)Collaborate with engineers, project controls, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliverySupport customer engagement and communication for large commercial/industrial clientsPrepare projects for transition into execution and construction phases What We’re Looking For9+ years of project management experienceDirect experience with electric utility transmission projects (required)Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling softwareStrong understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, and cost estimationBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical fieldValid driver’s license for regional site visitsPreferred Master’s degree (business, engineering, or related field)Experience with Ecosys financial management systemProficiency in Power BI for reporting and data visualizationAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with SharePoint lists and collaboration toolsBackground in project scheduling or project controlsProject Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plusPay Range $54-59/hour Why Join K&A?People-First Culture: We put our people at the center of everything we do, creating an environment where your professional and personal growth is a top priority.Innovation & Learning: We encourage continuous learning and invest in your development through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience.Collaborative Team Environment: We believe in the power of collaboration and working together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and employees.Recognition & Growth: We’ve earned our reputation through uncompromising precision and a commitment to excellence.
