Litigation Support Project Manager

A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Litigation Support Project Manager to join its litigation technology and eDiscovery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation support professional who enjoys partnering directly with case teams, attorneys, clients, vendors, analysts, and technical teams to drive defensible, efficient, and high-quality eDiscovery workflows.This position will support complex litigation matters across a sophisticated national platform known for its work across sectors, including technology, media, energy, financial services, real estate, and construction. The firm is also recognized for its strong client-service culture, commercial awareness, and collaborative approach to solving complex legal and business challenges.Position: Litigation Support Project ManagerPrimary Location: Washington, DC (3/4 days onsite)Alternative locations may include:Los Angeles, CANew York, NYSan Francisco, CAPalo Alto, CATarget Base Salary: $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience. (35-hour work week)Position OverviewThe Litigation Support Project Manager will advise and guide case teams and clients through the full scope of litigation support and eDiscovery projects, including workflow planning, database setup, document processing, data analysis, productions, search strategy, troubleshooting, and quality control. The ideal candidate will bring strong law firm litigation support experience, technical fluency with eDiscovery platforms, and the ability to manage multiple case teams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise attorneys, case teams, and clients on eDiscovery workflows, litigation support strategy, project planning, and database setup.Use eDiscovery and database tools to load, process, analyze, assess, and produce electronic documents.Develop and execute effective search queries and report results to case teams.Assist case teams and document review attorneys with onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and use of eDiscovery database platforms.Plan project workflows with case teams to ensure client expectations, deadlines, and cost considerations are clearly understood and met.Provide regular project status updates, reporting, and analysis.Serve as a point of escalation when litigation support or eDiscovery issues arise.Track project progress internally to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and cost expectations are achieved.Partner with engineers, analysts, technicians, vendors, and consultants to communicate tasks, requirements, and technical needs clearly.Lead completion and quality control of deliverables.Safeguard client confidentiality and ensure defensibility throughout the eDiscovery process.Stay current on developments, tools, and best practices within the eDiscovery industry.Load data into and produce data out of eDiscovery database platforms.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field, system-related technical certification, or equivalent training and experience.Prior law firm litigation support or eDiscovery experience required.Strong understanding of litigation support technology, eDiscovery services, and database platforms.Knowledge of database structures and defensible handling of structured and unstructured litigation data.Experience managing document processing, review workflows, productions, search queries, and database troubleshooting.
