Radiation Therapist Location: Martinsburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,886 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Therapist Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Certification Must-Have: Knowledge of Varian linear accelerators Ability to administer external beam radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist Description: The department has a CT Simulation scanner and a Linear accelerator. The therapist will not be required to float or cover other areas. Common types of imaging performed include image-guided radiation therapy and CBCT. The average number of therapeutic radiation treatments is 30-35 per day, along with 3-5 CT simulations daily. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, along with ARIA. Department-specific equipment includes GE Lightspeed and Varian 2100 IX. There is no requirement to start IVs. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend and holiday requirements are minimal. Scrubs must be provided by the employee and should be a solid color, excluding navy blue. The department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants. A Radiation Oncologist or covering physician is available during treatment hours.
