This position will manage day-to-day lab activities including ordering, stocking the lab, mouse colony management, as well as contributing to team projects. Research in the laboratory spans several fields, including immunology, metabolism, autoimmunity, molecular and cellular biology. The focus of research is on T cell function in chronic autoimmunity.The Research Technician will assist with basic research experiments including molecular biology, cell biology and culture, mouse experiments and animal care. This position provides an opportunity to train in one or more cutting-edge immunological approaches, including spectral high parameter flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and vector mediated gene transfer.This position provides the ideal opportunity to gain research experience for a competitive graduate program application.
