We are looking for a proven leader in the Northern Indiana region who can own the estimating function, win complex work, and build the next generation of estimating talent.This is a department-level leadership role — not a transactional seat. You will set the standard for how bids are built, collaborate directly with GCs, owners, and design professionals, and shape how the company competes on commercial, institutional, and multi-family projects up to $10M.What You’ll Own• Full estimating lifecycle — schematic budgets through final design-build proposals• Estimating department leadership — junior staff development, database maintenance, client relations• Bid accuracy and scope integrity — including clean ops handoffs and change-order support• Value engineering — identifying and pricing alternatives that keep projects competitiveWhat We’re Looking For• 8+ years of electrical estimating on commercial, institutional, and/or multi-family projects up to $10M• Hands-on experience with Accubid, LiveCount, McCormick, and/or ConEst• Strong NEC code knowledge and electrical engineering calculation fundamentals• A collaborative, calm-under-pressure leadership style that earns trust across estimating, ops, and field• BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred — or equivalent field-earned experienceWhat We Offer• $110,000 – $125,000 base salary + performance bonus, commensurate with experience• 401(k) with company match• Generous PTO + paid holidays• Company-paid CE and code training · Latest estimating software providedIf you’re currently employed and not actively looking — we still want to have a conversation.
