Job Description
The Retail Store Manager will lead a small team of 1-10 employees in a specialty retail environment focused on sports cards, trading card games (TCG), and memorabilia. This role demands hands-on management of daily store operations including inventory, customer experience, sales monitoring, and visual merchandising, while ensuring compliance and performance standards. Regular coordination with regional management and vendor partners supports operational success. The manager contributes to a vibrant retail culture tied to the Sports Card & TCG Shows in Utah. ResponsibilitiesManage and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goalsMaintain accurate inventory control using proprietary retail software and standard POS systemsMonitor sales performance and generate reports for management reviewCoordinate with vendors to ensure timely stock replenishment and merchandise qualityResolve customer and staff conflicts professionally and efficientlyOversee visual merchandising to enhance product presentation and store appealEnforce compliance with company policies and retail regulationsCollaborate regularly with regional/district management to align store strategies Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of retail management experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent Preferred QualificationsExperience in retail operations and team leadershipStrong skills in customer relationship management and inventory managementProficient in sales analysis and visual merchandising techniquesExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities
