Junior Buyer

Junior BuyerWe are seeking a Junior Buyer to join our growing team. You will provide general purchasing assistance to the Purchasing Department. Pay is in the $52K to $55K range, depending on experience. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Purchase items for Louisville Maintenance & Safety Departments Match and scan purchase receipts in TimberScan, receive material in Sage Contact Project Managers & suppliers for POD/Receiving Paperwork Approve invoices in TimberScan Check inventory levels in Sage and reorder as needed Type purchase orders and send POs to vendors Print open order reports and track material to ensure delivery dates are met Scan PO's and associated documents to the Purchasing job files on Dropbox Order office supplies Provide routine administrative support Assist with physical inventory and reconciliation Qualifications:Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience Ability to read and interpret documents and internal and external company product or equipment drawings Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Preload is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Female/Disabled/Veterans committed to the principle of Diversity and is particularly interested in receiving applications from a broad spectrum of professionals for each open opportunity.
