Data Analyst (North American Quality Center - NAQC)

Data AnalystHyundai's North American Quality Center (NAQC) is looking for a Data Analyst for the Strategy and Analysis Team.The Team:NAQC is the quality arm for Hyundai Motor Group (HMG)'s North American vehicle models. NAQC seeks to further Hyundai's goal of becoming the leading automotive manufacturer in North America by delivering uncompromising quality and exceeding consumer expectations.The Data Analyst will support business operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, developing reports, and deliver actionable insights that drive quality improvements on Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia vehicles in North America. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to monitor quality issues, analyze external quality indicators and customer data, and escalate emerging quality cases.What You Will DoUnderstand and follow the department's business model, strategic direction, purpose, and mission.Utilize internal and external data to identify and break down automotive quality problems. Deliver clear problems with targets for the investigation and new model teams to investigate.Utilize text mining tools for topic generation and/or enrich existing datasets with generated features classification tasks.Maintain reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisionsComplete ad hoc data insights/requests as needed to support company goals.Work with a moderate level of autonomy to achieve company goalsCommunicate results and business impacts within the team and to management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and affiliatesEngage in on-the-job learning and follow best data practices.What You Will Bring to the RoleBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, data science, computer science, business, math, or economics is preferred.YOE for Engineer level I and II in data analysis or related field.Solid foundation in data analysis and statistics.Proficiency in SQL.
