Cable Installation Technician

CATV, Satellite, Electrical, Security, and HVAC experience is a plus. Currently looking in Long Island Nassau/Suffolk/Bronx/Brooklyn/and Connecticut. Technician Responsibilities: Be able to execute all installations. Be prepared and able to install Fiber and/or Coaxial systems and equipment to the customers in their home. Be knowledgeable about the products that are being installed. Have a grasp of telecommunications technology. Be aware of existing utilities in the areas being worked at. Conduct installations efficiently and safely. Establish a good rapport with customers and be professional. TRAINING will be provided and you will be out on your own -but never alone as someone will be there to give assistance when needed. To qualify, installation technicians must have: -Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills -Ability to climb ladders (75 lbs.) -Not be afraid of heights -Ability to work outside in diverse locations and weather -Basic knowledge or willing to learn about electronics, computers, software and network connectivity -Valid Driver's License -Able to pass drug screens and industry-standard background checks.
