Job Summary: As a Bookkeeper at Broulim's, you will be responsible for managing the store's financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your primary role will involve recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. Join us in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the store's financial operations. Examples of Duties: Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the store's accounting system. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed. Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of financial software and spreadsheet applications. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Abilities: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Analytical mindset to identify and resolve financial discrepancies. Strong communication skills to collaborate with other departments and external parties. Ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling financial information. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred. Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is required.
