Power Platform Developer
Our client is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to help transform Navy training processes with cutting-edge automation and data solutions.Your Impact:As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing workflow automation tools for our Navy clients. You’ll leverage Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and the Office 365 suite to enhance data collection, streamline approvals, and modernize digital signature workflows. Your expertise will bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless automation that drives mission success.Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform Solutions using Application Lifecyle Management (ALM) best practicesFacilitate requirements gathering and collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring proposed solutions are thoroughly validated and aligned with organizational needs.Plan, delegate, and track development tasks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure successful launches within defined timelinesCollaborate with a team to design security groups and user personas to effectively enable role-based access controls (RBAC)Develop custom connectors for API integrations to enable secure data flowsDevelop reusable components to promote consistency across the portfolio of solutionsDefine test requirements and protocols to effectively capture user requirements, facilitating unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) eventsCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and release notesProvide guidance to client-side leadership on the evaluation and prioritization of new product and feature requests, ensuring alignment with their portfolio strategyWhat you Bring:5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)Proven ability to lead development teams and oversee the end-to-end application lifecycle utilizing managed Power Platform environmentsProficiency in web service technologies (REST/JSON/XML), authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT), and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) integrationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex projectsActive DOD clearance, or the ability to obtain onePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of NAVWAR, NAVAIR, DoD, and Navy Flank Speed environmentsExperience supporting Navy PEO MLB, PEO Digital, or PEO C4IExperience with Model-Driven Apps and/or Dynamics 365Experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging Microsoft DataverseMicrosoft Power Platform CertificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceSecurity Clearance:This role requires an active DOD clearance.
