Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM)

ResponsibilitiesLead quality recovery efforts for underperforming suppliers by managing root cause investigations, containment actions, and long-term corrective action plansRespond quickly and effectively to supplier quality crises to minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure continuity of supplyMonitor supplier quality performance using key indicators such as PPM, non-conformance reports (NCRs), audit findings, and first article inspection (FAI) resultsInitiate and manage improvement or escalation plans based on supplier performance data and trendsCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and internal quality teams to align on quality expectations and drive consistent standardsFacilitate structured problem-solving activities such as 8D reports, 5 Why analysis, and root cause workshops with suppliersConduct or support supplier audits, quality system evaluations, and production readiness reviews in line with industry and customer requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, APQP, PPAP)Ensure suppliers comply with all relevant regulatory, contractual, and quality management system standardsTrack and report progress of supplier recovery activities, ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders and customersDevelop and maintain supplier quality scorecards, using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, or related field3–5 years of experience in supplier quality management, supplier development, or supply chain operationsProven experience managing supplier corrective actions and driving recovery plansStrong understanding of quality standards, quality tools (8D, FMEA, control plans), and regulatory complianceFamiliarity with supply chain management systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel/data analysis skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partnersStrong analytical mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approachAbility to manage multiple priorities under pressure and deliver measurable quality outcomesJ-18808-Ljbffr
