Power BI Developer
Job DescriptionJet Parts Engineering, a Seattle-area aerospace company, seeks a Power BI Developer to join our growing BI team. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, and integrate data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role offers 50-70% focus on core BI development with opportunities to support IT tasks and contribute to automation and process improvement projects. Perfect for someone with 1-3 years' experience ready to make an immediate impact. Onsite position eligible for 1 day/week remote work from home.Core Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to)Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for multi-company operationsWrite/optimize SQL queries (PL/SQL, T-SQL) for data extractionIntegrate data from multiple sources using SQL, Power Query, FabricPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver BI reports, analysis, and actionable insightsProvide onsite IT tier-1 support under supervision of IT directorContribute to business automation initiatives and process improvementsSupport ERP system integrations and development (Quantum Control, AvSight/Salesforce)Any other duties as assignedRequired Education and QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma/GED required1-3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI developmentSolid SQL query writing and optimization skills (PL/SQL, T-SQL)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordProblem-solving mindset with a willingness to find creative solutionsUS work authorization requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in distribution and/or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with aerospace industry practicesExperience with ERP systems (Quantum Control, AvSight, or similar)Experience with the Salesforce platformUnderstanding of UI/UX principlesKnowledge of PHP and website supportUnderstanding of API/MCP integrationsInterest in AI and machine learning applications in businessPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periodsGood manual and finger dexterity for computer workVisual acuity for detailed data analysis and extended periods of concentrationCompensation & BenefitsSalary position commensurate with experience.
