(No surprise there!)Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies.Communicate sonographic findings to physician.Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.Other duties assigned by managers Please note that duties and responsibilities of this position are subject to change and the employee may be required to perform additional tasks as needed. IS THIS YOU?Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical SonographyRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialtyExperience doing Fetal Echocardiogram (FE) scans2+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experienceKnowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialtyKnowledge of applied physics related to ultrasoundCompliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systemsAble to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team membersAble to remain calm in emergencies or patient distressMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical LengthBachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of studyRISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.This is an hourly non-exempt opportunity.
