Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver
Batteries Plus is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team!
This position will assist in maintaining optimum levels of inventory and required materials needed to meet customer delivery requirements as well as deliver product to customers in a safe, prompt, and professional manner.
This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. The workday is M-F, 7:30 am to 4 pm. Prior warehouse and delivery experience is a plus but not required. A CDL is not required.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment
Pick orders and maintain inventory records. Note errors and/or problems
Understand product weights and types to maintain quality and avoid damage and spoilage of products
Pack and crate items in preparation for shipping and distribution
Assist with inventory cycle counts
Shipping
Properly stage and assemble completed orders for expedited loading and shipping
Verify accuracy of packages being loaded with order documents to ensure proper piece counts, addresses. Complete shipping reports
Follow procedures to wrap orders for shipping stability
Use mechanical equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) to load trucks and or storage units (training/certification provided)
Deliveries
Work with our team to pick, pull, and load deliveries from our Manchester, NH warehouse
Assist our team in setting up routes using GPS navigation system
Deliver product directly to our commercial customers and execute store-to-store transfers
Pick up recycling product from our commercial customers and organize it at our warehouse
Deliver throughout southern New Hampshire, with occasional deliveries to Maine and Massachusetts
Assist in loading/unloading and organizing truckload shipments at our warehouse
Provide minor maintenance and cleaning of our vehicles while reporting any service needs to management
General
Follow all safety procedures and rules established in the facility. Wear proper PPE, including steel-toed shoes
Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards. Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or damaged products
Actively participate in all safety and other training programs
Complete paperwork as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to operate delivery van
Excellent attendance and reliability required
Forklift certification is a plus, but not necessary
Must have a focus on accuracy and integrity
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete paperwork within defined procedures
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with others. Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to obtain information and data that requires professionalism and tact
Able to quickly identify problems, pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk and use hands to handle or touch; frequently talk, hear and lift up to 75 pounds; and occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and use foot to operate a machine to lift more than 100 pounds
The position requires use of manual and mechanical equipment as needed. Training/certification will be provided as needed.
While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee will occasionally be exposed to sheltered weather conditions and unheated/non-air-conditioned spaces, fumes or airborne particles, and the limited risk of electrical shock.
The level of noise in the working environment is low to moderate.
Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes ear protection, eye protection, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
