Shipping And Receiving Associate Day Shift Job DetailsBase pay starts at $20.00 per hourDay Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pmDuties And ResponsibilitiesKnows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environmentPackage, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loadingPackages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as requiredConstantly check each load being made to assure that the job is completeExpedite completion of work in process to meet production schedulesAssist with inventory counts as requiredMaintains continuous improvement practices in work areaMay be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team LeaderQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse experience (0-1 year) preferredAbility to lift up to 100 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistBasic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math skills for inventory calculationsAbility to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocolsForklift certification preferredPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentReliable transportation to work locationWhy Work For Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
