Manager, Corporate Relations

DescriptionPosition Overview:The Manager, Corporate Relations is responsible for supporting the Director of Corporate Relations in the planning and implementation of the museum's corporate giving programs including exhibition, special events and program sponsorships along with private external Art Week rentals, corporate memberships, and the museum's hospitality program. This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Relations and collaborates across departments to represent the museum to current and prospective donors, supporting corporate engagement and sponsorship opportunities.RequirementsRequired Degree: Bachelor's Degree/4-Year DegreeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing/public relations, museum studies or related field.Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in fundraising, sales, business development, or corporate relations.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive storytelling and presentation.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and influential audiences.Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Blackbaud CRM systems and Adobe products is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience preferably in the art museum, cultural institution or non-profit setting.Public Relations or experiential marketing experience.Knowledge of Spanish a plus.Teamwork Skills:Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the teamBe professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behaviorBe understanding of, encouraging to and friendly with all co-workersBe self-motivated and use time wiselyMaintain open line of communications with each department on pertinent informationMaintain effective communication by means of meetings and memorandumsAdhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including, but not limited to those contained in the employee handbook.Physical Demands:Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies an electronic equipment.Finger dexterity to pick up paper and use computer keyboard.Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation.
