This role focuses on new business development, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding distribution and partner networks.The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and consistently delivers against ambitious revenue targets while building long-term strategic partnerships.Key responsibilities:Team Leadership & DevelopmentDirectly manage and coach a Regional Sales Manager within the territory Provide ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and development planning Support territory planning, account strategy, and opportunity management Partner with team member to identify growth opportunities and improve market coverage Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative sales culture Revenue Growth & Business DevelopmentAchieve and exceed sales targets through effective territory planning and executionGenerate new business through proactive prospecting, inbound lead management, and account expansionIdentify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities across target industriesAccount & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and partnersServe as the primary point of contact for assigned accountsProactively identify customer needs and deliver value-driven solutions to support retention and growthChannel & Partner DevelopmentDevelop and expand a network of distributors, integrators, and commercial partnersAssess partner performance and implement strategies to enhance market coverage and sales effectivenessSales Execution & ForecastingMaintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM toolsProvide reliable forecasting and performance updates during regular business reviewsAnalyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and improve resultsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer support) to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfactionLead or support product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentationsContract Negotiation & Deal ManagementLead contract negotiations and ensure timely execution of agreementsManage deal timelines and ensure delivery on commitments Skills and abilitiesStrong business acumen and strategic thinking Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance and adjust strategies Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency strongly preferred) High level of accountability, integrity, and ownership Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExperience and educational backgroundMinimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment sales, sales management, or a related field.Work Environment and Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
