Administrative Clerk

Job Description Position Summary The Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and customer service support related to order processing, shipping, invoicing, and documentation. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, sales staff, and internal teams regarding shipments and related inquiries, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform daily order verification and invoicingGenerate Bills of Lading for all outbound shipmentsField customer calls regarding Material Test Reports and Pro numbersMaintain accurate filing and documentation related to customer ordersProcess RGA paperwork in a timely mannerAssist with routing of all LTL and truckload shipmentsCommunicate with corporate office regarding standardized shipping policiesRelay Accounts Receivable (AR) information to corporate for tracking inbound stockServe as the primary point of contact for all shipment-related inquiries from customers and sales staffReceive and invoice incoming shipmentsResearch and resolve problems or issues that arise in the fieldAssist with branch transfers as neededAnswer and direct all incoming telephone calls professionally and courteouslyRequired Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skillsPolite, friendly, and tactful demeanor when handling complaints, inquiries, or problem resolutionExcellent customer service skillsAccurate typing and strong computer proficiencyProfessional phone and email etiquetteHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of relevant administrative or clerical experience Company DescriptionWe offer an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), disability, and paid time off.
