What will you do?
A day in the life of a Manager, Learning and Development at VF looks a little like this.
As Manager, Learning and Development, you will be responsible for activating and continuously improving large-scale, regional, and global talent initiatives or programs. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating learning platforms, resources and curriculum, executing learning programs, assessing development needs, and tracking learning effectiveness. You will collaborate with employees and managers to support career development. In the long term, your impact ensures that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles, contributing to the company’s overall success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. This role reports to the Director, Global Learning and Leadership Development.

Learning Content Creation: Create and oversee the development of high-quality learning content, including courses, workshops, and resources.
Execute Learning Programs: Coordinate and deliver learning sessions, workshops and meetings to enhance employee skills, self-awareness and increase effectiveness.
Collaboration: Partner with regional HR teams to integrate and apply globally consistent practices. Equip and engage with global tools that flex to the unique needs of the brand/region. Consult on tailoring of programs for unique regional local needs.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning requirements across functional areas ensuring learning initiatives align with organizational needs.
Program and Platform Management: Activate and continuously improve large-scale, regional and global leadership and career development programs and platforms such as first-time manager, director, high potential programs, mentoring, career advisor, career center, etc.
Project Management: Plan, organize, direct, and control resources to complete specific goals and objectives.
Evaluation and Improvement: Continuously assess program effectiveness, gather feedback, and make data-driven improvements to enhance user experience and contribute to organizational success.
Technology and Digital Literacy: Stay updated on HR automation tools and HRIS and adapt to technological advancements ensuring learning is scaled and streamlined.
Track Learning Effectiveness: measure the success of programs using metrics and feedback to demonstrate ROI, inform adjustments and ensure continuous improvement.
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, 5 + years of experience and professional achievements. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology or related field and a minimum of 3 years general management experience in the Human resources field or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Experience working and collaborating with global, matrixed teams.
Experience managing learning programs.
Proficient skills and experience with facilitation and design of learning programs
Strong organizational skills and a high level of detail orientation with proven project management capabilities including experience handling multiple key projects at a time.
Engaging and persuasive in communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to connect to associate experience at various levels.
Excellent collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities at various levels (business leader, HR, associates), this includes adapting visual and verbal storytelling.
Action oriented and self-motivated with the ability to move work forward in a complex, ambiguous and continuously changing environment.
Highly collaborative with an ability to work across multiple organization levels, geographies, and partner with cross-functional teams.
Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
Stays current with trends, research and best practices in learning and employee development.
Location requirement: the ideal candidate will reside within Denver, CO to better service their client base.
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
Experience working in Human Resources
Facilitation Certification preferred (e.g., Mind Gym, DDI, CCL or similar organization)
Assessment Debrief Certification strongly desired.

Hiring Range : $80,352.00 USD - $100,440.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
