SWAT Root Cause Engineer

The SWAT – Root Cause Engineer is responsible to lead electrical issue identification and resolution for all electrical features on a program line to ensure successful vehicle launch while working with various Engineering Support teams that include systems, wiring, design release and validation engineers, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams as required to support and launch vehicle programs. Responsibilities include:Rapid troubleshooting / triage of vehicle electrical systems includingWiring issuesElectrical component issuesAssembly plant issuesVehicle networking issuesVehicle System issuesSupport of vehicle launches, durability fleets, and prototype vehiclesDrive identified issues to closureWhat you need for this position:Basic Qualifications:Bachelors in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceKnowledge of CAN based communication and toolsExperience with multimeters and oscilloscopesOutstanding communication and organization skillsSelf-starter with ability to work independentlyPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of CAN-FDKnowledge of Ethernet protocol
