Accounting Clerk
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices, along with experience in payroll management and various accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Utilize 10 key typing for data entry tasks
-Process accounts payable/purchase orders to ensure payments to venders are correctly charged to their accounts.
-Assist in inventory and research/correct production issues for inventory control.
-Close orders/run production reports
Requirements
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
-Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with tax regulations and procedures
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform account reconciliations efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 per hour
