Equipment Operator

Role : Equipment OperatorLocation : Bloomsdale, Missouri, United StatesJob Type : Full-timeABOUT THE ROLEOne of our clients, a leader in construction materials, is seeking an Equipment Operator for a pneumatic cement operation in Ste. Genevieve, MO. This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the plant yard and loading them with cement during overnight shifts. This position operates exclusively on-site and does not require driving on public roads.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHConduct pre-shift safety inspections of equipment and vehicles.Ensure trailers are properly aligned for loading and monitor fill levels.Inspect pneumatic trailers for defects, including valves, hoses, and tank integrity.Coordinate with Scale Operators, Dispatch, and Yard Supervisors to maintain workflow.Adhere strictly to plant safety, health, and environmental policies.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: High School Diploma or GED.Experience: 1-2 years of experience; 2 years of heavy equipment experience preferred.Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and basic office technology.Physicality: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Requirements: Good driving record and ability to pass pre-employment physical/drug/alcohol tests.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAdherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.Note: This role may require the use of a respirator.
