Production Supervisor
JOB DESCRIPTION
ITC is the premier manufacturer of wire mesh products for the material handling and storage products industries. As one of the largest wire and steel fabricators in the United States, ITC manufactures a wide range of wire products including heavy and light duty wire mesh decking, dividers and flue spacers, gridwall/slatwall, POP displays, industrial and specialty drawn wire, custom wire and steel products, mine mesh, re-enforcing mesh, laser cutting, fencing and roll formed products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee daily production efficiencies of 30 plus employees.
2. Implement and enforce safety guidelines.
3. Evaluate and monitor employee performance through performance plans and assessments, developing performance objectives, coaching and counseling our diverse workforce.
4. Plan and schedule direct labor workforce.
5. Responsible for checking employees’ time and attendance on a daily basis.
6. Foster and develop a well-trained workforce.
7. Provide and document proper training.
8. Troubleshoot and solve production issues.
9. Ensure on time delivery of product while maintaining quality standards.
10. Communicate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
11. Establish and maintain effective business relationships across multiple functions.
12. Recommend methods to improve production.
13. Ensure team conformance to company’s policies, standards, and procedures.
14. Interpret specifications and work instructions for workers.
15. Additional duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 2-3 years manufacturing supervisory experience.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
4. Ability to lead, motivate, influence, and encourage a diverse workforce.
5. Good organizational skills with attention to details.
6. Experience in coaching, training, and hiring employees.
7. Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks/projects.
8. Strong computer and analytical skills.
9. Strong administrative skills.
10. Able to meet strict deadlines.
11. Must maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes elevated sound levels and varying ambient temperatures.
In addition to experience to qualify for this position, candidates must have a stable work history and pass a drug screen and background check. Prior convictions are not an automatic disqualification for consideration.
